BBDO Malaysia names Sutha as new head of planning

KUALA LUMPUR - BBDO Malaysia has replaced head of planning Arindam Chatterjee, who joined Publicis last month, with Amit Sutha (pictured) from JWT India.

Sutha was regional strategy director and planning unit head at JWT Mumbai, and replaces Chatterjee, who established BBDO Malaysia's planning department when he joined in 2004.

"We hired Amit because we found him to be intelligent, entrepreneurial, inspiring. He has the ability for big picture challenges at BBDO," said Jennifer Chan, group CEO of BBDO Malaysia.
