BBDO India unveils creative leadership

DELHI - BBDO India, the network's fledgling second agency in India, has appointed Sandipan Bhattacharya and Manoj Deb (pictured) from Grey as executive creative directors.

The duo, who are senior creative directors at Grey, are the first significant hires made by Josy Paul, the agency's chairman and national creative director who joined last December when BBDO India launched.

Bhattacharya and Deb have spent 11-year terms as creative partners after stints at Saatchi & Saatchi, Enterprise Nexus as well as Grey for clients including Haier, Aviva, Chevrolet, Wrigley's and Hyundai Santro.

Paul said: "These appointments are big news for BBDO India.  Both Sandipan and Manoj bring with them a wealth of experience and great talent.  They have the ability to look beyond television and assess the broad spectrum of advertising channels, which is what ‘Totalwork’ is all about. Together, they will play an integral role in growing BBDO India from strength to strength.
