In his new role, Vij will run the Hewlett Packard account and drive new business. He will report to Josy Paul, chairman and national creative director.
Vij was previously the VP and branch head of Delhi operations at Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC). Accounts he has worked on include Airtel, General Motors, Sony, Whirlpool and Nestle.
Meanwhile, BBDO has made some senior appointments in Singapore and the Philippines.
In Singapore, BBDO has promoted its senior account director, Intan Mokhnar, to the role of client services director. Mokhnar replaces Sharon Foo, who has relocated to New York.
In the Philippines, Brandie Tan has joined BBDO Guerrero as head of art and Tin Sanchez as Head of Copy. They were previously joint ECDs at Lowe Vietnam.
