BBDO Guerrero Ortega and JWT win big at Creative Guild

MANILA - BBDO Guerrero Ortega and JWT Manila were the two biggest winners at the 24th Annual Creative Guild of the Philippines Awards.

BBDO topped the list of winners with ten awards, winning gold with best TV campaign and public service TV campaign for their regional work on FedEx and Childhope Asia, respectively.

JWT won the most golds for the night for its Lotus Spa radio ad and Philippine Animal Welfare Society account for art direction while Dave Ferrer, its ECD, was inducted into the Creative Guild’s Hall of Fame.

But it was Leo Burnett’s sister network, Blackpencil (team pictured) which won Best of Show for its campaign for Cinemalaya, the film festival.

David Guerrero, the chairman of BBDO Guerrero Ortega, was elected president of the Creative Guild at the awards.

In his acceptance speech, he outlined objectives “to champion great creative work to clients” and also to “hold the 25th Creative Guild Awards with the strongest jury and the best speakers that this country has ever seen.”
