BBDO China names new strategic planning chief

SHANGHAI - BBDO China has appointed Hans Lopez-Vito (pictured) as strategic planning director , replacing Harjot Singh.

Reporting to Carol Potter, CEO of BBDO China, Lopez-Vito will handle strategic planning for clients that include PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, ICI, FedEx and Visa, as well as new business.

Lopez-Vito has more than 14 years’ experience in the field of consumer insight and strategy, and was most recently the VP and head of strategic planning at McCann Worldgroup, Philippines.

He worked at McCann for eight years and in market research for over six years.

“I look forward to providing strategic thinking leadership grounded on true consumer and market fundamentals,” said Lopez-Vito.
