BBC World News produces campaign for Indian Ministry of Tourism

SINGAPORE - Following the broadcast of the Travel India series, BBC World News has strengthened its association with the Indian Ministry of Tourism to produce a series of commercial presentations to showcase the country to its global audience.

Made by the BBC World News creative solutions team, the Colours of India commercial presentations will be showcased across Europe, Asia-Pacific, South Asia, the Middle East and Australia, as well as BBC World News programmes on United Airlines and US Airways.

Hosted by local cricket commenter, Harsha Bhogle, he is to offer "a different perspective of India with an interesting narrative that is delivered through personal experiences while travelling the length and breadth of the country," explaining  Sunita Rajan, VP of sales for BBC Global Channels, Asia Pacific.

Leena Nandan, joint secretary of Ministry of Tourism, said: "We are extremely pleased that the multi-hued dimensions of India will be seen on BBC World News, a medium that has credibility and reach among influential travellers across the world.”
