BBC World names regional marketing chief

SINGAPORE - BBC World has hired Terri Seow from National Geographic as its Asia-Pacific head of marketing, replacing Bipasha Ghosh.

Seow joins with a brief to boost the BBC's business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing and will report to London-based global marketing chief, Annabel Cameron. She replaces Bipasha Ghosh who left in April to be with her family in New York.

At National Geographic Channels and Fox International, Seow ran the regional marketing team based in Hong Kong, and was responsible for launches including National Geographic Wild and outdoor adventure channel A1.
