Bank Mandiri pitches media and creative

JAKARTA - Bank Mandiri, one of Indonesia's largest banks, is on the lookout for an agency to handle its media and creative, estimated to be worth US $15 million.

This account is currently handled by local agency Hotline. The bank is currently in the process of collecting agency credentials and, although formal invitations have not been extended, sources claim that Grey Indonesia, Matari Advertising and Hotline might figure in the list. Hotline refused to confirm the news.

Sources also claim that the bank has been finding it difficult to invite most top agencies as they are already handling banks and might settle for smaller networks or local agencies.

Two years ago, ten agencies were invited for a similar pitch, but the account was handed back to incumbent Hotline.
