Bangkok wins regional movie industry show

BANGKOK Thailand will host the CineAsia exhibition for film-makers, theatre exhibition and movie distribution businesses on December 4-6. The eighth CineAsia show is organised by Sun- shine Group Worldwide. "Bangkok has some of the best cinemas in the world. We want exhibit-ors and distributors to know it," Sunshine Group managing director Mr Robert Sunshine said. Tourism Authority of Thailand governor Mr Pradech Phayakvichien added: "CineAsia relocating to Bangkok from Hong Kong shows Thailand's strengths in attracting world-class events."
