Bajaj consolidates Indonesian creative into Lowe

JAKARTA - Indian motorcycle maker Bajaj Auto has replaced Ogilvy & Mather with Lowe as its creative agency in Indonesia as the company looks to align its agency roster in the region.

Lowe won the business after a pitch with Ogilvy, however it is understood that the client was looking to consolidate its creative business into the IPG agency. Lowe handles the Bajaj business in India, the company's home market.

Bajaj launched in Indonesia in 2006. While it has recorded encouraging sales growth since launch, the brand has been burdened with a reputation that it is purely the maker three-wheeled motorised rickshaws.
