AXN to launch in Korea
Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) has announced it will launch its action and adventure channel, AXN, in Korea next month. It will be the first international general entertainment channel approved for retransmission by the Korean Broadcasting Commission, and will be carried exclusively in SkyLife's MoviePlus package. With an initial base of 1 million viewers, the move takes AXN's reach to 76 million households across Asia.
