Running in conjunction with sister channels Animax and AXN Beyond in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, ‘Afterworld’ arrives in Asia after earlier airing in Australia and the UK.
In addition to TV, the show offers a dedicated website, while AXN is partnering with a range of mobile networks across different markets to allow viewers to watch ‘mobisodes’, download screensavers, wallpapers and ringtones, and access an interactive map that reveals where the show’s characters are currently located.
To encourage further viewer interaction, a blog has been created for fans to learn more about the show’s characters.
A mobile game based on ‘Afterworld’ is also to expected launch this summer.
