AWARD to recognise new directors

SYDNEY - AWARD has announced it will launch a separate New Director of the Year award, to be held in conjunction with judging for the its main creative event in November.

The award, which will recognise the best new commercial directors across the region, is open to directors who have been working in the industry for two years or less, although submissions from their entire portfolio of commercials, art, music videos are eligible.

The award, which is being sponsored by Kodak, will be focused on fresh thinking and creativity, and will be judged by up to 20 international directors and creatives ahead of the November event.
