Audi China poised to retain Lintas

BEIJING - After a lengthy pitch process, it is believed that Audi China will retain incumbent Lintas for the bulk of its creative duties in China.

The development comes more than four months after the carmaker put the business up for pitch – which included a three-month gap between the first and second rounds of pitching.

After shortlisting Lintas, Ogilvy and DMG for the second round of the pitch, it is believed that the final decision rested between the incumbent Lintas and DMG. However, sources note that Audi may still hand some creative duties to DMG.

The review covered all of Audi’s imported car marques, and its domestic business under the FAW-VW banner.

Audi’s total Mainland adspend is estimated at US$10 million.
