SINGAPORE - Asylum founder Chris Lee (pictured) and 141 Worldwide senior designer Jason Tong are launching a viral marketing company, called Assembly.

According to Lee, Singapore-based Assembly will specialise in solutions that use “daring creative ideas to hit the consumer and invite media coverage.” This includes guerrilla advertising, viral marketing and experiential branding.

Eight-year old Asylum is one of Singapore’s most successful design shops, housing a design studio, retail storefront and record label. Lee has served as the design chairman in several award sows, including Singapore’s Creative Circle Awards and London’s D&AD.

Meanwhile, art-based Tong joins from 141 Worldwide where he worked on campaigns such as Nokia’s ‘Defend Your Turf’ and Timberland Channel Pack. Prior to that he was at the Filter Group, a youth marketing agency.
