Astro calls review

KUALA LUMPUR - Astro, Malaysia's biggest pay-TV operator has called a pitch for personal video recorder (PVR) service Astro Max.

The briefing for this pitch is scheduled for Wednesday. It is not clear which agencies have been invited.

Astro’s account in Malaysia is currently split between Y&R and Naga DDB.

Astro launched Astro Max, a decoder integrated with a digital video recorder in July 2006. This decoder has been built by Thomson and enables Astro subscribers to record up to 60 hours of programming on a 80GB hard disk.
