Asiaray paves the way for 'greener' slope advertising

HONG KONG: The hillside slopes leading up to the Lion Rock Tunnel will soon offer advertisers a 'greener' way to conduct their outdoor campaigns.

Asiaray Advertising Media, which recently outbid four outdoor agencies to win a five-year government contract to develop what it calls the GreenBoard Slope Ad, says the new option will provide advertisers with an environmentally-friendly platform from which to promote their brands.

Jacky Law, the agency's sales and marketing director, said that the GreenBoard Slope Ad will use flowers and other plants to construct a virtual three dimensional ad space which will give advertisers a number of unique benefits, (an artist's impression of which is shown above).

"The 'green' advertising area gives advertisers a greater degree of creative freedom. There is also a wide viewing spectrum, which will result in the ad having a big visual impact on people as they travel along the roads near the Lion Rock Tunnel, said Law.
