Suhayl Limbada returns to the Power List in 2026 as one of the most decorated and busiest fast food marketers in the region. Having led KFC Thailand to its most creatively triumphant era, he has jumped to the CMO role at KFC India in April 2025. He now oversees one of the QSR giant's highest-growth markets globally, along with four partner markets: Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

His Thailand chapter set a high bar. KFC's 40th anniversary campaign, Let There Be Cake, earned the brand its first-ever Cannes Lions Gold in Film, a Grand Prix at the London International Awards, a D&AD Graphite Pencil, Spikes Asia Gold and Silver, and more than 80 creative accolades in total. The numbers behind the creative were equally sharp: 99% campaign reach against KFC Thailand's own average, 5.1 million audience engagements, and a 2.6% lift in group-sharing portfolio sales.

In August 2025, KFC Thailand expanded its Bucket Search programme into a metaverse-powered music education initiative for out-of-school youth in juvenile centres. Developed with We Are Social and Warner Music, the programme offered access to professional training, virtual studios, and live performance opportunities. Since its inception, the programme has supported over three million young Thais on pathways back to education and employment. It's a meaningful footnote to a marketing career that has always held commercial and social impact together.

Prior to his tenure in Thailand and India, Limbada spent his formative years building brand muscle at Cadbury in South Africa in 2006 and jumped to KFC managing marketing across 16 African markets in different capacities before moving to Asia in 2022.

He is generous with his knowledge and insights at Campaign’s flagship event and other industry gatherings, and has served as a juror at the APAC Effies, Bookmarks, and Campaign's Agency of the Year.
