SINGAPORE One of Asia's largest boat exhibitions, Boat & METS ASIA, has been postponed until April 2002 due to slow economic recovery in the marine industry. Organiser Messe Dusseldorf Asia said postponement would give the industry time to regenerate its resources. "Boats are luxury items which one would only indulge in when you have the spare resources," project manager Ms Beattrice Ho said. A further change is holding the show at Singapore Expo. "Singapore Expo was chosen as the new location because of its convenience," Ms Ho added.
