Arriwong, who will be based in Shanghai, will take up his new role next month, reporting to Leo Burnett Greater China chairman and chief creative officer, Eddie Booth.
Arriwong’s appointment marks a return to the agency for the veteran, after earlier stints at Burnett in Vietnam, the US, Spain and Poland, and will see him once again pair up with former Vietnam colleague Michael Wood, now Greater China CEO.
Arriwong has also worked for Saatchi & Saatchi Taiwan and founded independent creative shop, Carbon8.
