Arc and Burnett China acquire Yong Yang

CHENGDU - Arc and Leo Burnett have acquired a majority stake in marketing services player Yong Yang, giving the agency improved reach in China and access to Yong Yang's clients, including Sony Ericsson, among others.

Yong Yang will be headed by Simon Holt, MD Arc Greater China and Patrick Lai, head of strategic planning, Arc Greater China, in conjunction with current Yong Yang general manager Zhao Yung Yue and Zhang Ren Jun, deputy GM.

Yong Yang provides expertise in field logistics, retail and promotional merchandising and activation, and boasts a significant presence across China with 19 wholly-owned offices and 11 affiliate operations.
