On February 8, the world will be dancing with Puerto Rico and its tapestry of citizens as global superstar and native son Bad Bunny takes the stage at the halftime show during Super Bowl LX.
To commemorate the hotly anticipated event — and perhaps dispel some of the heated criticisms that followed the announcement of his selection as headliner — Apple Music released Bad Bunny Takes the World’s Biggest Stage, the official trailer for the show, which features the star, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, dancing with individuals of all ages, genders, shades and ethnicities. The group sways their hips to his hit “BAILE INoLVIDABLE,” which translates to “Unforgettable Dance,” inviting the world to join them in the dance. The song is from his 2025 album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which translates to “I Should Have Taken More Photos,” and has earned the Spanish-language singer historic Grammy nominations for Song, Record and Album of the Year, among others.
At press time, the artist’s Instagram post promoting the spot has nearly 3 million likes.
The spot was filmed in Puerto Rico, notably under the backdrop of one of the island’s iconic aptly-named Flamboyant trees — “a powerful symbol of the island’s pride and identity” according to the statement. The theme fits the artist’s vision from the past year, beginning with the Cannes Lion-winning campaign for the album, Tracking Bad Bunny. The campaign invited fans to discover the island through Google Maps coordinates used in place of a track list on his Spotify channel, followed by a historic 30-show residency, which brought fans to Puerto Rico and generated over $200 million in revenue for the U.S. territory’s economy.
To get fans excited about what promises to be a rhythmic, culturally rich and hopefully unifying performance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Apple Music is offering an array of content, including a playlist that highlights Puerto Rican styles and sounds curated by Bad Bunny, a singalong feature called Apple Music Sing, where fans can sing to adjustable vocals, perfectly timed lyrics and translations and pronunciations that appear line-by-line, along with Apple News content.
This year’s halftime show continues Apple Music’s multiyear partnership with the NFL and Roc Nation, which was announced in September 2022 following Pepsi’s longtime sponsorship. Rihanna, Usher and Kendrick Lamar — whose performance currently holds the record as the most-watched halftime show at over 133 million viewers — were the previous headliners.
