APB to make announcement on Heineken creative account

SINGAPORE - Asia Pacific Breweries is close to announcing the winner of its Heineken creative review, believed to have gone to Publicis after a final round shoot-out with JWT, TBWA and Leo Burnett.

We had really good meetings with them (Publicis), and it’s been very promising. We’re expecting to hear something soon, could be tomorrow, we’re waiting on a day-to-day basis now, said Joe Lin, executive creative director, at Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore.
 
Heineken Singapore’s marketing manager Desmond Tan was unavailable for comment while a confirmation by Publicis Singapore could not be substantiated.
 
The review, which began in May, marked the end of Bates141's 15-year hold on the account.
