ANZ puts Indonesia creative pitch on hold

JAKARTA - ANZ Panin Bank has shelved a creative pitch that it was expected to call in Indonesia this month.

Agencies including Dentsu Indonesia had been invited to the pitch. It is not clear why the pitch has been put on hold, however the relocation to Jakarta of Murray MacDougall, a senior ANZ marketer, might have something to do with the delay, a source has suggested.

ANZ has had a presence in Indonesia since 1973. In 1993, ANZ acquired an 85 per cent shareholding in the joint-venture bank now known as ANZ Panin Bank.
