Amway retains OMS in India

MUMBAI - Direct selling FMCG company Amway has renewed its contract with Optimum Media Solutions (OMS) without a pitch, following an annual review of its media business.

Bill Pinckney, Amway India's managing director and chief executive, commented that the decision to forgo a pitch process was made as a gesture of appreciation to the agency for a successful partnership that has lasted a number of years.

In addition to Amway, OMS' client portfolio in India includes Reliance ADAG, ICI Paints, Panasonic, Air India and MTV Networks, among others.

The retention follows Amway's recent announcement of a review of its US$127 million media business in China (Media 13 March).
