Amway picks McCann in Japan

TOKYO - Amway, the US-based direct sales and manufacturing company, has appointed McCann Erickson and subsidiary consultancy Harrison McCann as content and creative development partners for its Wellness and Home & Living businesses in Japan.

The appointment of McCann Erickson to handle the Wellness account follows a three-way pitch that also included Saatchi & Saatchi Fallon and JWT. McCann is understood to have collaborated with sister agency McCann Healthcare in developing a strategy for the account.

Meanwhile, Harrison McCann was selected to work on the Home & Living division after a pitch that also involved JWT and local firm Light Publicity.
The value of the accounts has not been confirmed.
