Amex to take card members into space

American Express has added a flight into space among the range of travel offers included in its latest brochure for cardholders in Hong Kong. The credit card company is offering trips to the edge of space and beyond after extending its partnership with space flight specialist Space Adventures outside the US for the first time. Flights to the edge of space have been pegged at 30,000,000 points though Hong Kong members who have accumulated 60,000,000 points on their card can redeem these for a discounted spaceflight 100km above Earth for HK$524,000.
