While most of the communications will be handled by TBWA\Raad Middle East leading up to and following the channel's launch in Q1 of next year, TBWA-ISC\ Malaysia will play a role on a regional basis. Media will be handled by OMD Gulf in Dubai, with the support from OMD's global network.
"The brief given to TBWA asks that it stresses our goal of bringing a fresh perspective to news and that we will be editorially independent," said Lindsey Oliver, commercial director of Al Jazeera International.
AJI's Asia-Pacific broadcast headquarters are based in Kuala Lumpur.
