Airborne wins Lego creative for Australia and New Zealand

AUSTRALIA - Airborne, creative agency under IPG Mediabrands, has been appointed by Lego Australia as its creative agency for Australia and New Zealand.

Airborne will work closely with sister agency UM to roll out a creative and media strategy for Lego.

"We see great advantage in closely aligning our creative work with media strategy and execution,” said Caroline Squire, LEGO director of marketing for Australia and New Zealand. “Having UM and Airborne work seamlessly will ensure both media- and creative-led opportunities are leveraged, with close collaboration between LEGO Australia, Airborne, UM and our media partners.”

Since the acquisition of Airborne, Mediabrands has been observing the ways in which creative work can influence media execution and vice versa, commented Henry Tajer, executive chairman of Mediabrands. "What emerges is undoubtedly more focused and effective work for clients.”

This win follows the Airborne's recent addition of Georg Jensen to its client portfolio.
