AIME 2007 set for record show

MELBOURNE The 15th AsiaPacific Incentive & Meetings Expo (AIME) will take place in Melbourne this month.

Featuring 850 exhibitors from 50 countries, including 150 new exhibitors, AIME 2007 will be held on February 13-14 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Rosemarie Sama, AIME event director, said: "There is an enormous showing from Australia this year. The Gold Coast has increased its space, and Melbourne has expanded to cover the largest space at AIME." An impressive list of speakers will be on hand to provide the best in education for the meeting and incentive industry at AIME 2007. Elizabeth Rich, executive director of the Business Events Council of Australia will facilitate the opening day session on Trendspotting - a mustattend event for anyone interested in the outlook for the global meetings industry. Joining her will be Sandra Chipchase, CEO of the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau; Patricia M Durocher, managing director of HelmsBriscoe International, from the US; Martin Sirk, CEO, ICCA, from the Netherlands; and Anthony Wong managing director, Asian Overland Services from Kuala Lumpur.
