Agencies unite for global AIDS push

BANGKOK - Lowe Bangkok has joined forces with the world's most awarded agencies in the fight against AIDS.

A series of 24 commercials will debut on MTV channels, web and mobile platforms this week to mark World AIDS Day on 1 December. The project, called 'Turn on TV', is part of new campaign by the UN's Global Media AIDS Initiative to tackle issues associated with the disease: unsafe sex, discrimination against sufferers and infidelity.

The ads - created by 180 Amsterdam, Cake, Ogilvy, Wieden & Kennedy and Y&R - will reach 1.4 billion people and air from December through to early next year.
