Agencies unite for global Aids push

BANGKOK - Lowe Bangkok has joined forces with the world's most awarded agencies in the fight against Aids.

A series of 24 commercials will debut on MTV channels, web and mobile platforms this week to mark World Aids Day on December 1. The project, called 'Turn on TV', is part of new campaign by the United Nation's Global Media Aids Initiative to tackle issues associated with the disease: unsafe sex, discrimination against sufferers and infidelity.

The ads - created by 180 Amsterdam, Cake, Ogilvy, Wieden & Kennedy and Y&R - aim to reach 1.4 billion people, and air from December through to early next year.
