Aegis restructure sees Stahle take on new duties

GLOBAL - Aegis Media has restructured its global management team following the exit of global CEO Mainardo de Nardis, a move which sees Asia-Pacific CEO Patrick Stahle (pictured) take on a new role as chairman of a new division, Aegis Media Service Solutions.

The Swede, who sits on Aegis's global executive board, will assume new duties to improve the group's strategy, brands, insight offer and integration initiatives, in addition to his regional CEO post.

Other promotions see Malcolm Hunter, Aegis Media's head of communications planning, take on a new global role as chief client strategy officer.

Nigel Sharrocks, CEO of Aegis Media UK and Ireland, becomes CEO of Aegis Media Northern Europe, while Marie-Laure Sauty de Chalon, CEO of Aegis Media France, who becomes CEO of the Southern European operation.

Sharrocks, Sauty de Chalon, together with Central and Eastern Europe CEO Andreas Bölte and Iberia and Latin America CEO José Luis de Rojas, will join Stahle on the global executive board.
