With sources indicating a deal could be signed by the end of the year, it remains unclear how Heartland would be integrated into the Aegis fold, which already includes Posterscope. The move follows the recent decision to shift three key accounts from Posterscope to Heartland: Olympic sponsor adidas, BMW and Pernod Ricard (Chivas, Martell and Ballantines).
Patrick Stahle, CEO, Aegis Asia-Pacific, said: “I can’t comment on (the client shift). With a view to acquisitions, I cannot comment on that either. But we’re constantly in talks with agencies, I believe we’re currently in talks with around five to eight agencies in Asia-Pacific.”
