ad:tech Singapore unveils speaker line-up

SINGAPORE - Scott Goodstein, online director for Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign will speak at this year's ad:tech Singapore in June.

The second edition of the leading digital conference and exhibition will see Goodstein deliver the keynote address on “The Power of Digital Branding through the Lens of the Obama Campaign”.

Other members of ad:tech’s advisory board will also be playing different roles ranging from speaker to moderator at the event. The 18 board members include include Lori Sobel, head of sales, Southeast Asia, Google; Greg Fisher, APAC regional manager, Intel; Kshitij Mulay, digital marketing product lead, Proctor & Gamble; Raymond Teoh, AVP, interactive, Singapore Press Holdings; and Ken Mandel, regional managing director, Yahoo SEA.

RAdm(NS) Lui Tuck Yew, Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, will be the guest-of-honour. 

This year’s ad:tech will also aim to offer two distinct components. The first focuses on advanced marketing and branding aspects including measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of online campaigns, how to leverage social media, and in-depth discussions into hot trends like location-based mobile advertising. 

Newcomers to digital marketing will be able to gain hands-on experience through activities like a digital training workshop, and panel discussions on budgeting for digital campaigns and the right approach to developing search campaigns.
