Pan-Asian broadand advertiisng network AdSociety is targetting

traditional advertising agencies and media owners with next generation

3D animated advertising formats and interactive content.

AdSociety has partnered with e-Brilliant, a Singapore-based 3D animation

studio, to syndicate 3D technology and content in Asia.

E-Brilliant joint managing director, Anthony Shang, said: "E-Brilliant's

animated content is characterised by its small file sizes, shorter

download times and full screen images that enable clients to deliver

interactive and innovtive content to their target audience. The highly

compressed file sizes enable full screen playback to be delivered on a

normal 56Kbps dial up connection."

E-Brilliant, a joint-venture between telecommunications and internet

company e-New Media and Brilliant Digital Entertainment (BDE), was set

up in August last year.

AdSociety has the exclusive rights to sell product placement and content

sponsorship by BDE and E-Brilliant.

The two companies also plan to collaborate on the setting up of a movie

and content syndication network for web properties in Asia, and will

look for other offline markets such as film, TV, music and the

publishing industries with potential to animate content for the

internet.

As well as product placements and sponsorships, AdSociety will pitch

other animated content opportunities to its agency contact network,

including the production of digital postcards and 3D banner ad

formats.

The service will be marketed to ad agencies in Greater China, Korea,

Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei and

India.

Separately, Oak Interactive Chief Executive, Alon Melchaner, said the

company is preparing to launch JumpAD, technology which offers floating

animated objects online, combined with sound.

According to Melchaner, the technology has been deployed at PizzaHut's

website. Oak Interactive aims to eventually enable the use of JumpAD

over mobile network s and interactive TV.
