Adidas taps Zidane for global cause

HONG KONG - Adidas and humanitarian organisation Right To Play have teamed up for a global initiative to improve the lives of disadvantaged children through sport.

The Red Ball campaign, which features football superstar Zinedine Zidane, is being activated regionally through in-store promotions.

Consumers will have the chance to purchase miniature red balls at adidas and partner outlets, with all of the proceeds donated to the Adi Dassler Fund, a non-profit organisation which funds Right To Play programmes globally. Zidane has also been tapped as the campaign’s key spokesperson to drive awareness of the initiative.
