Adidas signs up Iris for retail marketing tasks in Asia-Pacific

ASIA-PACIFIC - Adidas has added through-the-line agency Iris to its roster of retail marketing agencies.

The UK-based agency has been handed a number of projects without a pitch, thanks to its relationship with the German sportswear-maker in Europe and the US.

An adidas spokesman said its retail marketing is shared between Iris and Tequila, its globally-aligned below-the-line agency. “Depending on the campaign and concept, we will work with the agency we feel is able to provide the best possible service.”

Iris will originate work for adidas in Singapore, the agency’s Asia-Pacific hub, and roll it out across local markets. In the US, Iris has worked on adidas’ soccer-related brands for retail marketing environments. In Europe, the agency works across a number of categories.
