Adidas launches regional Olympic blitz

HONG KONG - Sportswear giant adidas has launched its regional Olympic campaign, targeting Asian markets outside China.

The campaign, designed by TBWA\Tequila Hong Kong (TBWA\180), features international track and fielders Yelena Isinbayeva, Tyson Gay and Jeremy Wariner, with Asian Olympic hopes represented by weightlifter Jang Mi-Rang and taekwondo athletes Zhu Mu-Yen and Yang Shu-Jun. It offers an alternative take on the brand’s award-winning China campaign.

Running in print, point of sale, digital and out of home, the activity will be centred in Taiwan, South Korea and Japan, with some representation across other markets in Southeast Asia and Australia. Carat is handling media.
