Adidas Australia aligns with global partner
Footwear and apparel giant adidias has aligned its US$3.8 million Australia business with its global network partner TBWA, shifting the account from incumbent agency Smart to Whybin\TBWA without a pitch. <BR><BR> Tasked with developing all brand and communications strategies for adidas, Whybin\TBWA Australia managing director Philip O'Neill said the first work should rollout early next year. <BR><BR> "Football globally is a huge priority for adidas but in Australia is not the most popular code, so it's about finding a way to leverage the local opportunities," he said. <BR><BR> Media will continue to be handled by adidas' global agency, Carat.
