ACNielsen secures TV rating contract in Taiwan

<p>ACNielsen has secured its multi-year TV ratings contract in Taiwan </p><p>after an industrial review over the past few months. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The TV rating contract battle between ACNielsen and Sofres heated up </p><p>when the media industry decided to review the business. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>It is understood that media owners were unsatisified with ACNielsen's </p><p>Peoplemeter panel size. Taylor Nelson Sofres had demonstrated keen </p><p>interest in replacing Nielsen's rating services. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Industry sources told MEDIA ACNielsen had promised "a lot" in price and </p><p>system enhancements in a bid to secure its business in Taiwan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The new TV ratings contract will reaffirm AC Nielsen's business in </p><p>Taiwan for the next five years. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
