ACNielsen loses HK TAM contract
ACNielsen has confirmed it has lost the Television Audience Measurement (TAM) contract for Hong Kong following an industry tender. CSM, a joint-venture between China's CVSC and Sofres Media, is believed to have unseated ACNielsen, which supplied TAM data for more than 20 years. "We fully intend to remain the TAM currency in Hong Kong and will continue to enhance what we believe is the gold standard in TAM media research," said Titan Wang, managing director of AGB Nielsen Media Research, Greater China.
