PARIS Accor has set up a Congress Network linking ten of the group's leading hotels for the conference, exhibition and incentive market. Spanning the globe, the Accor properties feature the largest meeting facilities the group offers, and can accommodate between 300 and 6,000 delegates for events such as international conventions or product launches. "The network will give meeting planners a choice of different venues but with all of them offering the kind of facilities they need and the backing of a brand they can trust," Accor conference and incentive sales manager Ms Dana Lewis said. The member properties of the network include the Sofitel Central Plaza in Bangkok, the Sofitel Convention & Resort in Costa Do Sauipe, Brazil and the Novotel property in Budapest. An extra feature is a database for delegates using the properties within the network. "This means each time a group uses a hotel the delegates' individual details and needs will be easily accessible," Ms Lewis added.
