ABN Amro pitch down to two

HONG KONG - The race for ABN Amro's creative account has reportedly narrowed to two agencies, with Y&R and one other unnamed agency in the running for the business.

The review, which is believed to cover 16 markets, was restarted last month after stalling after the initial process began with credentials presentations in January (Media, 29 June).

The creative review is aimed at consolidating the financial services giant’s creative roster, after ABN chiefs appointed Carat to handle its media business, estimated at around US$16 million (Media, 12 January).

ABN declined to comment on the process, only saying a decision was expected by the end of August.
