Abbott calls a pitch in the Philippines

MANILA - Abbott Philippines has begun the search for an agency to handle the below-the–line account for its medical nutritional drink brand Ensure. The entire Abbott account in Philippines is currently being handled by local shop Brand Idea.

Bobby Del Rosario, who heads Brand Idea, confirmed the news and said that his agency has been invited to pitch for this account. It is not clear which other agencies are involved. 

Ensure is a market leader in adult nutrition supplement category in the Philippines and is targeted at adults above the age of 50.
