"8 Days takes as much pride in the quality of its journalism as it does its cutting-edge photography and design," said MediaCorp Publishing associate director of marketing Joseph Dorall.
"Since its early days, the magazine has been a much sought-after canvas for lensmen like Russel Wong, Wee Khim and Mark Law, now all celebrated names in the industry. In recent years, the magazine has increasingly boasted work by its own pool of photographers, who have continued to keep the flag flying high."
Dorall added that the magazine's positioning over the last 800 issues has evolved to the stage where it is now prepared to take more risks. While he would not disclose plans for a revamp, he noted that it was an "exciting" period for the magazine.
