Bates 141 will be responsible for mapping out marketing strategies for the brand in the Chinese market and related creative production.
According to Josephine Tsai, managing director of Bates 141, Filtrete is the first mass consumers-oriented product that 3M has launched in China. The agency has already started producing a brand guidebook.
Earlier this year, Bates 141 also won the national account for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and the branding account for Green Court Property.
