Overall, the number of entries increased by 17 per cent on last year's turnout, with the highest increases in the Promo & Activation (up 147 per cent), Craft (up 44 per cent), Media (up 16.4 per cent), Radio (up 12.6 per cent), and Outdoor categories (up 12.3 per cent). Only one category, Film, saw a drop-off in the number of entries, from 417 to 360 this year.
The two new categories at this year's festival, Mobile and PR, brought in 47 and 97 entries respectively.
The top countries participating include India (responsible for 612 entries), Australia (443), Singapore (429), China (372) and Japan (366).
