3 Mobile shortlists four for creative review

MELBOURNE - Hutchison's 3 Mobile has shortlisted four agencies including CumminsNitro, Leo Burnett and incumbents Campaign Palace and Moon Design for its creative review in Australia.

The estimated spend for the Australian telco is A$20 million (US$12 million). It currently employs Campaign Palace for its main brand work, according to overseas reports.

3 launched the country's first 3G mobile network in April 2003 and currently has over 2 million customers.

Vodafone and Hutchison Telecommunications, a subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa, had announced an agreement in February to merge their telecommunications businesses in Australia.
