Merck KGaA (“Merck”) is a world leading science and technology company in healthcare, life science and related performance materials. In 2015, Merck kicked off the first ever global research on curiosity in the workplace, the first step made by the company to unlock the power of curiosity. It was also a critical move for Merck in establishing its brand image as a world leading technology enterprise and innovator. In 2016, Merck took its Curiosity Initiative to China. As Merck’s public relations consultant in the Asia Pacific region, SPRG was able to localize the “curiosity concept” for easy grasp by the Chinese people and executed a series of publicity activities including online communications, celebrity/option leader outreach, online ads, high-level content marketing and media events.

Fendirumi Surprise

Fendi wanted to make a splash on the social media scene for the grand re-opening of their flagship boutique on Hong Kong’s famed Canton Road. They had to stand out amongst Hong Kong’s saturated market of luxury fashion brands and grab the attention of Hong Kong’s mobile-loving social media users.
Given the recent extraordinary success of Pokémon Go in Hong Kong, an AR (artificial reality) component was required for the re-opening’s cocktail party to fuel the buzz on social media and draw shoppers to the store.

My Hong Kong Guide

We work very closely with the Hong Kong Tourism Board on their many campaigns, both locally and internationally. This year we launched the “My Hong Kong Guide” app for web, digital devices and Facebook, created to capture experiences of travellers to Hong Kong while managing their travel itineraries, offering suggestions of places of interest and having the ability to add friends and engage with other travelers based on interest, travel period and personal blogs.

Our client had an older ecommerce platform that did not represent the brand fairly and required an overhaul of the platform to meet today’s digital capabilities. City’super also wanted to enhance their digital brand experience and create a content rich site to support its eCommerce business.

DW with Marina Bay Sands (Marina Bay Sands Sales Kit)

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) first won the bid to build a business-oriented resort in the heart of Singapore’s prime new business district in Marina South. With the architectural design of the resort finalised, they required MBS brand identity to be created for marketing collaterals such as the sales kit and folders to woo luxury retailers, dinning outlets, exhibitors, etc. to attract, invest and open their brand and stores in the resort.

The Peninsula - Wayfinder

The Peninsula requested for a system to promote events and programs in the hotel and be used as an advertising/promotional vehicle for its premium tenants. They also requested for a mobile app that hotel guests could access further information about Hong Kong and the hotel’s facilities to enhance their overall stay with the hotel.

Hong Kong Jockey Club Website Revamp

Hong Kong Jockey Club has four business pillars: charity, membership, racing and football betting. The organization asked for a clearer distinction amongst them while maintaining the overall brand identity and its values. As for the customer experience, we were asked to create a fresh, sports-focused look and enhance usability of the HKJC.
